thoughts as of late... i love coffee. i don't think i could spend my life with someone who didn't. that may make me an addict. i'm mostly serious about this one thing.
i've been in one of those musical moods lately where i listen to the same one or two or three songs over and over and over. and it never gets old.
i have been thinking a lot about what keeps people from the Truth. it very rarely is the Truth itself. it is more often someone else that keeps them from Truth. even if they can believe it, there is something about the expectations and judgements of others that keep them from even wanting to know the Truth. even in a place where very very few have ever heard the Truth, there are these misconceptions about what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. to one friend even though it seems like the most right way and a way of peace and no judgment, it means having to read the Word and pray every day.... but it's not about that. my heart aches with every excuse and reason that keeps my friends and family away from experiencing this Love.
i went to a chocolate potluck birthday celebration this weekend.... oh wow... amazing idea. i left on a sugar high.... we played bunco and i won 14 of 18 times! haha... which meant i won overall! :)
i got to work with some cool people last week doing some translating.... very fun! i also got on the wrong bus another day after i overslept...both of which caused me to miss a meeting... so i went to the mall then came home and baked cupcakes to make it all better.
it took april and i about 4 days to realize our coffee was only (very) partially caffeinated.... i think my headaches and her more-than-usual drowsiness were the signs... :)
as a shoutout to my baby bro on his 15th birthday, i would like to post these pics from a skype conversation this week... he was sweet enough to call me on skype with my nephew... what would i do without skype? isn't my nephew just precious? and my bro so handsome? haha.... love you two...

yes, the only reason Josh and I have survived this long in our marriage is because we both like coffee. Everything else was just icing on the cake.... Rolling eyes at you. And laughing.
