today i ate at least 3 times the amount of food i would normally eat. that's normal. what's not normal is my choice of clothes. pants really. normally on thanksgiving one would wear fat pants or at least loose pants. but no, without thinking i wore my skinny jeans today. hmmm.......
on a better note, i made my first (successful meringue) today! i've only tried once, last Christmas, but i failed miserably.. 2 attempts and 12 eggs later... so today when the meringue turned out beautifully i was pretty much giddy. and it was an amazing topping for my banana pudding. i made my grandma's banana pudding and my granny's fudge pie and a zucchini casserole.. and they were all quite delicious, if i do say so myself. :)
we had about 40 people at our thanksgiving feast/celebration. after stuffing ourselves, a few of us played skip-bo and then mexican train... it was fun... then after going home for a rest, about 10 of us watched Home Alone together (as one family's tradition)... it was a fun day.....
